We, the Alexander Alliance, are an intergenerational, multicultural Alexander community/school directly inspired by the work of five first generation Alexander teachers: Marjorie L. Barstow (1899-1995), Elisabeth Walker (1914-2013), Erika Whittaker (1911-2004), Richard M. Gummere (1911-2006), Jr. and Catherine Merrick Wielopolska (1900-1988). ​
